hello, my name is Devan =)

I thought I should talk a bit about myself; I need to work on my writing skills anyway =) My birthday is October 10th just this year actually =D I love to read, so it's a good thing Lily has so many books ^_^ she sometimes cuddles me and reads to me. I love it a lot, but sometimes she squeezes me too hard =( but I know she does it because she loves me, so it's ok sometimes =)

I think my favorite book she reads to me is Sherlock Holmes! I love to pretend that I'm Mr. Holmes investigating a case with my best friend and colleague, Dr. Watson on our many adventures; it's so much FUN! =D I also really like the Charlie Brown books, they're funny. My favorite character is Snoopy <3 The Harry Potter series is so exciting as well =D I was really sad when Professor Snape died at the end, he reminds me of Lily ;_;

Lily also teaches me how to write, but it's hard to hold pencils when you don't have any fingers =c so we decided to try out typing . I think it's working out pretty well, don't you think? (she's been correcting all my misspellings and grammar and stuff)

I really like lollypops, they're so yummy ^_^ Lily says that I shouldn't have so many because it sticks to my fur really badly, but I don't mind ;)

My favorite color is green because that's what color my eyes are =D and it's a pretty color anyway! I wish colors had a smell, but that's ok, because you're not supposed to smell a color, just look at a color X3

I played with Lily's littlest cousin before...she's very cute but she handles me so roughly @_@ she was nice enough to say when I got a rip so I could be fixed and then we'd talk about different stuff like how we were doing and what time we woke up (I had to stay with her so she would sleep) and what we should play with. She always picks legos, but I can't hold them =(

I made lots of new friends and they're all so nice =D There's Harlock, and Woodstock, Kero-chan, Berry, Cheshire, William, and Mr. Penguin =D I really love talking with Berry, Harlock, Kero-chan and William. Cheshire's pretty nice and cool, but he always talks in riddles. =c Woodstock only knows how to speak bird, and Mr. Penguin doesn't usually say much, but he talks with Woodstock often so he doesn't feel alone, so I guess he's a really nice penguin =) Kero-chan tells me about all different kinds of candies and plays cards with me and he's always happy =D Berry is really funny and likes telling jokes; he doesn't do pranks though, he says they're mean. he's probably right. Harlock is my playmate, we pretend we're Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson solving mysteries, and sometimes we pretend we're space pirates and have everyone join in, it's loads of fun! William is always helping me, he looks scary at first because he's so big compared to everyone else, but he's the best friend I could ever have. AND he loves hugs, so we hug a lot =D

Lily says that as soon as she gets the money that I'll be going far away to William in Ireland. I met him a few times on this magic flat box, and he seems to be a very nice person =) I'll miss my friends when I have to leave, but I'll keep in touch! I saw that he has a bear over there with him, so I won't be COMPLETELY alone; I didn't get introduced to him yet, but I'm sure he's nice, because he gives hugs to human-William, and any bear that gives hugs I just KNOW is a nice bear =D

A day for giving thanks

well...TECHNICALLY, the official day was yesterday =P but that doesn't mean that it's the only day you can reflect on those things you're truly thankful for =)

being able to go to school ;w;
having great teachers in college so far =D (thanks to their guidance, I'm doing really well in all my classes <3)

speaking of that beagle pup I mentioned, she is the sweetest thing ever~~~~ ;w; I definitely felt irony set in about it though lol apparently, my lil cousin picked it out and named it "Lily"....the OTHER option it could have been named was "Petunia" >x> I was thinking that a "Petunia" might not like me so much lol.

My cousin wouldn't let the poor thing sleep (an 8 month old puppy needs a lot of sleep); my grandpa and myself tried to tell her to let her sleep and she busted out with talking back to him and rolling her eyes waiting for him to finish and I never wanted to slap her so badly until that point; not too hard, mind you, but hard enough that she gets the point across her thick skull.....however she is only a cousin and I have no such authority with her =x also I'm about to chew her out on this thing, so I best stop lol. anyway, I asked her (my grandfather agreed actually) that the next time she stays at Nena and Papa's house, how she'd like it if we were to say...wake her up and keep her awake when she tried to sleep? it seemed it didn't do the trick though as she brushed it off and continued to pester lil Lily; her grandfather (not mine, on her mom's side) doesn't seem to be a good influence when it comes to being remotely humane to animals. >> I suppose you could compare her to Angelica from the Rugrats ...or maybe Ish getting old? =P LOL TT^TT very sad

I think the only reason I was miffed (maybe...)was because Lily curled up next to me to sleep ;w; she looked so cute~~~ >w< I think I got a bit Snape-ish about it =x oh well....

it's a day for thanks, and I AM thankful for the cute little beagle to keep my cousins busy and I was able to spend time with my family <3 I was sad that not everyone was able to make it, but it was very heartwarming all the same =) I hope next year, I can spend it with my mom and siblings as well, I really miss them <3

it's been a while...

I discovered that I fucked up the one friendship that I treasured more than anything due to my carelessness and stupidity and came off as a bitch worse than Aunt Rosa instead of confused as I meant to. I couldn't understand a joke, and worse I couldn't understand the second question I was asked and thought it was asking basically "what's your problem/why are you acting this way" and answered as such......

I love computers, but when you type to someone, you can't hear the emphasis on words or how things are being said and it makes things so confusing...computers are cold and calculating pieces of work and only does what you tell it....if only they could turn back time, that would be something

even despite all that, I can't change what I did.... however if I find out that I have that same mental thing that both my grandfather and uncle have that I find most infuriating about them, I will be cursing my genetics for a very long time......and of course I'll be able to fix my stupid problem about myself then. If I don't then it's something I have to fix as I should have no excuse to be that way

still, I've been prevented to speak past email and it's painful to find that out because of all the times I've messed up, it's never come down to this....so I'm fearful that I'll never be able to fix the bridge between us, even though I want to so badly. I want to say those three words that show how much I feel, but I promised that I would never say them again, but it's painful to keep it to myself at the same time........

I'll endure a bit longer, but I really wonder how well if things will continue like this....

Making M10M hi-quality

Ah yes, my absolute favorite band, Moi Dix Mois (which I jokingly call 10 M&M's) lol

I've been asked to look for/upload Moi Dix Mois' performance at the V-Rock Festival in 2009; and quite honestly, I told em that what was online is probably the only thing that's online since there were several things that you needed to live-stream and record the video.

but I did mention that I'd attempt to make the video quality of what was uploaded better, so I'm doing that currently; there's not much I could do, but did manage to get the sound a bit more synched, less pixels and color blips and whatnot. still a few things here and there because of a lot of noise and motion activity, but otherwise much better than it was =3

but LOL I wanted to make this a High-Quality video, so that's what my computer is working on doing currently and WOW is it taking forever xD though I already knew this after making several 1-3 minute videos for a certain someone in hq and those took about 3 hours each (so I made them regular videos after a while) Imagine how fuckin long it will take doing a 40 minute segment! probably about a whole day >>;

and then of course there's a few further things that I need to fix afterwards (like the three video pauses transitioning to the next part) but that's not so bad I suppose.

On a completely separate note, I'm trying to work on a special person's birthday present whom I fondly call "Severus", but what I had in mind was already similarly done I found out D= so now I have to figure out how to get it done right, originally, and on-time. My nit-pickiness can make this quite difficult for me...lol

actually..................I think I want to make something that works better than what I had in mind before...

Cosplay attempt~

It's halfway done, and I'm awful at taking pictures; not the best combination.

Anyhoo, yes, I be cosplaying Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji this coming year for A-kon; OBVIOUSLY I haven't gotten the hair or scarf/sash thing, and the hat looks like shit, so it's not quite done yet. >> Gonna procrastinate on finishing it and get it done at the last minute? maybe ^^;

besides that, I haven't been able to rp Undertaker or William on twitter at all since I'm very discombobulated with emotions right now that I don't wish to explain =p you'd think a month of this and I'd be used to it by now, but noooooooooooooooo~~~

anyway, haven't updated a blog for a while because I've been trying to deal with school this entire time; apparently they changed the entire financial aid system and nobody knows what to do much less what happens next, so I've been screwed with 4 times with their shit. LUCKILY, we got things as situated as it's gonna be for now, and gonna check back with them for a couple days in between to make sure it stays that way. _-_; *sigh* I now know how William Spears feels in Kuro oO; better leverage to rp him with? lol x3

tell me any tips and pointers about my cosplay that need working on besides the obvious, ok? =D

Painting

it took a couple seconds for me to figure out how to add a new post...lol still a blogging noob =p

anyhoo, my new internet dropped a couple of times for several hours each cuz the connection is SHIT, but I won't complain, since it's fixed now |p  ...partially >>

my grandma and I painted the rest of my room and it looks great (again) ^^<3 repainted it pink it looks nice; Nena (my grandma) says it looks more sophisticated, quite honestly, the only difference is that the ceiling is now actually white rather than what it was before xDD I purposefully got the same color it was since who knows how long ago cuz I don't want to bother changing something that already works and I'm very excellent at matching colors -w-

besides painting my room for the day and getting frustrated with the internet, I was watching Harry Potter movies; specifically the ones with more Snape. I love the complexity of his character and actually quite a while back (I THINK in 8th or 9th grade) someone commented that they could see me dating Snape, because of how much I loved the class of my Snape-like teacher, I think that was the first time I enjoyed school for once xDD anyway, they meant it as a joke/some form of derogatory comment, but just to mess with them and answering pretty honestly I did comment back that I probably would. The look on their faces was priceless XDD lol

anyway, been watching Snape moments cuz I've been missing a certain someone on the weekend ;p and I'll probably go back to watching it unless I remember what homework it was I had to do...in which case the William bit of me from roleplaying will nag my ass off and force me to finish it no matter how late, though quite honestly, I've been catching up on sleep I missed for the past 2-3 weeks this weekend, so maybe that's why I haven't gotten it from him yet ;p who knows...

once again, I've run out of stuff to talk about =p not too surprising, I didn't start off with much to talk about in the first place x3 oh by the way, the picture in the corner is my dream pet *3* isn't it PREEEEEETTY~~~~?

First blog; I'll fix the rest later

m'k hello~~~ I could write about myself here, but I already did that in the "about me" spot, so you can look there for that. I'm not used to blogging, and don't edit pages often, so I'll figure out what I want with how I want this thing to look later and get this thingie up first.

I'm currently in school and trying to apply for the fall semester, but the financial aid peeps are as stupid as always, so I'm trying to make up for their lack of productivity right now; it's not fun. In between that and regular school work, I'm looking up stuff about Harley Quinn so I can pull her off as a cosplay for mah "Mistah J." but it'll take a bit to get together and get used to saying "puddin"...never used THAT as a reference for people...oO

besides that, trying to get a job so I can go to A-kon 23 next year; it's not working out too well _-_; *sigh* also learned that even though I need glasses to see, nobody can recognize my character if I have them on...luckily I'll be pullin off Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji this year so I can get away with wearing glasses (HA!) still waiting for chapter 60 to come out so I can get all the minor details right.

So now I'm wondering where/when in my cosplay list I should do Harley...maybe next year I'll pull her off on one of the days...cuz Kuro is at the "spawning level" this past year, next year I'll imagine with the dubbed coming out that it'll be "infestation/Resident Evil level" lol.

Oh, and before I forget, a certain special friend is almost begging me to do Beatrice from Umineko and he do Battler; the anime is REALLY amazing, totally loved it, was kinda hoping for a more of and end-type ending rather than a debatable one, but that's ok ^^<3 but she is somebody I could pull off pretty well, it's just time and materials that's a problem; I'll probably have to do her the year after next year...when I'm also going to do Dr. Stein from Soul Eater (cuz I have everything for it ;D ) 

I think that's enough rambling for now, whenever I actually start thinking of something MORE productive to say I'll post it.
